Windsor Stool

This Windsor style stool is a highly functional and multipurpose stool that tucks away neatly and provides a comfortable seating option for extra guests or a kitchen desk. The stool shown has a solid cherry seat with tiger maple legs and stretchers. The seat height of the stool shown is 18" and it was designed to be used at a desk or table. Other heights are available to allow the stool to be used at a bar or high counter. This stool features a hand turned sculpted seat made from solid cherry.  The legs of the stool are all hand turned from tiger maple and the box stretcher assembly provides a great deal of structural strength to the design.  The joinery for the legs is a traditional tapered & wedged tenon used in the construction of Windsor style furniture.  The stool is finished with a natural hand rubbed varnish – waxed and buffed to a satiny sheen.
