Cabinet with Columns

This entertainment cabinet was built for a customer to enclose a full set of stereo, DVD and video components. The cabinet allows the electronics to be completely hidden from view and complements a formal or semi-formal setting.  The entire cabinet was constructed from a grain matched set of wide cherry and features a two board top, single board raised panel front doors, traditional joinery and reproduction hardware. The cabinet is constructed from solid cherry and features three fixed shelves to hold a variety of stereo components.  Two drawers with handcut dovetails are located above the component shelves for storage of remotes, books, movies, etc.  The front corners of the cabinet are decorated with a fluted column.  The back of the cabinet features two removable solid cherry panels which allow easy access to the rear of the components for wiring and connections.  The back panels also feature ventilation and wire access holes.   This piece could also be designed for use as a hall cabinet, dining room or bedroom piece. The size and wood selection can be customized to suit your requirements.
