Shaker Style Bookcase

This bookcase was built from solid black walnut and features shaker design elements and solid walnut backboards.  The construction of the bookcase uses traditional sliding dovetail joinery and mortise and tenon joints.  The bookcase features a secret drawer in the lower apron which is held shut with a hand made lock mechanism.  This bookcase also features a secret compartment under the top board which is also 'locked' with a handmade lock mechanism.  The size, style, wood selection, and coloring can be customized to suit the customer's requirements.
