Mission Style Office Desk

This mission style desk was built for a client who works for a law firm in DC.  He was looking for a set of office furniture which blended traditional design elements with some modern features.  The desk is made from solid white oak and is built with a traditional mission frame and panel construction featuring tapered legs.  The panels on the sides & back show continuous grain as they wrap around the desk.  All of the drawers feature handcut dovetail joints and solid wood bottoms.  A  writing board extends from above the left hand drawer to provide additional writing surface.  A computer keyboard and mouse tray are hidden within the center drawer As with all my pieces, the size, style, wood selection, and coloring can be customized to suit the customer's requirements

Features

• Solid white oak construction - utilizing wide boards for full grain patterns. • The dimensions are 30" high x 38" wide x 70" long - other sizes available on request • Wide continuous grain panels, and tapered legs • Handcut dovetail & mortise and tenon joinery throughout the piece • Extendable writing surface above the top left drawer. • This desk was finished with a hand rubbed oil and varnish -  then buffed and waxed to a satiny sheen. • Other woods, styles and finishes are available
