Foot Stool

This foot stool was designed to compliment one of my standing desks, but could be used as a foot rest for a chair as well. The basic dimensions were 12" deep x 30" long x  8" high. The stool is constructed with traditional through mortise and tenon joints which are secured with a wedge. The wood used for this foot rest is tiger maple. The stool is finished with a natural hand rubbed varnish – waxed and buffed to a satiny sheen.
