Chippendale Style Bookcase with Quarter Columns
This Chippendale style bookcase was built from solid tiger maple and is based on several pieces of furniture made
in Winchester Virginia in the late 18th century. This bookcase features a matched set of highly figured tiger maple,
ogee bracket feet, fluted quarter columns, and one piece crown molding. The construction of the bookcase is
done with handcut dovetails which are visible from the top of the piece. The shelves are attached to the sides of
the piece with a very solid sliding dovetail joint.
The size, style, wood selection, and coloring can be customized to suit the customer's requirements.
